Acclaimed UK producer Djrum (aka Felix Manuel) is set to release his first album in six years, signaling a major comeback. Titled Under Tangled Silence, the 11-track LP lands April 25, 2025 via Fabric’s boutique label Houndstooth. This marks Djrum’s long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s Portrait With Firewood, and it represents what’s being described as a creative rebirth for the genre-blending artist. True to form, Djrum’s new material defies easy categorization – expect a journey through ambient atmospheres, experimental bass and jungle breakbeats, even touches of modern classical with instruments like cello and harp in the mix. Two singles have already dropped (“A Tune For Us” and “Three Foxes Chasing Each Other”), offering a glimpse of the album’s emotive yet rhythmically fierce sound. Under Tangled Silence is one of this month’s most anticipated releases, poised to remind the scene of Djrum’s genre-pushing prowess.
