The band Rythmix, known for blending the energy of drum and bass with live instrumentation, is releasing a new single titled “Hold You”. This track marks not only a new chapter for the band but also the first song featuring their new vocalist – actress and singer Karolína Krézlová.
Karolína Krézlová is known not only from the music scene but also from her work in film and television. Her filmography includes leading roles in both Czech and international movies and TV series. In 2023, she became a part of the popular reality show Survivor, where she showcased her determination and fighting spirit. Now, she joins Rythmix to enrich the band’s musical output with her strong and charismatic presence.
“Hold You” delivers a unique fusion of drum and bass, electronic elements, and live instruments, with Karolína Krézlová’s melodic vocals adding emotional depth to the track. It serves as the first glimpse into the band’s new direction – a continued evolution focused on merging electronic music with an authentic, live sound.
Rythmix stands out for its innovative approach to drum and bass. Unlike most acts in the genre, which are typically DJs, Rythmix is a full live band composed of a drummer, DJ, vocalist, and rapper. Each of their songs is a unique blend of hard-hitting neuro drum and bass with melodic and emotional segments.
With extensive experience in the professional music world and their own recording and production studio, the band continually pushes creative boundaries.
The Rythmix lineup consists of seasoned musicians with rich backgrounds:
Karolína Krézlová (vocals) – Actress and singer with a strong film career. A 2023 Survivor contestant, currently starring in leading roles in both Czech and international film projects (2025–2026).
Jan Formánek (rap, instruments, production) – Guitarist, vocalist, and producer with 20 years of experience. Owner of Red Studio. Collaborated with artists such as Tomáš Klus, Verona, and James Cole.
Filip Nováček (main drummer) – Over 25 years of experience, including the last 15 as drummer for the band Morčata na útěku.
David Nevěčný (substitute drummer) – Endorsed by Dixon Drums and TRX Cymbals CZ, currently the drummer for Poetika.
Pavel Trčka (DJ) – Experienced DJ and promoter of drum and bass events.
Daniel Pokorný (rap) – Rapper with hundreds of live performances at major festivals across the Czech Republic and abroad.
“Hold You” will be available on all major streaming platforms, and the band is also planning an official music video to accompany the release and further amplify the song’s atmosphere.
Rythmix is here to prove that drum and bass doesn’t have to be limited to DJ sets – their work offers a fresh perspective on the genre, elevating it into a fully-fledged musical experience.
